Originally designed by architect Floyd Mueller, this Post + Beam boasts clean architectural lines with walls of glass throughout the home bringing the outdoors in. Over the years, thoughtful updates had been made to the home using Japanese woodwork, screens, and lighting.

My role in preparing this architectural gem for its second sale in history, was to eliminate extraneous ornamentation both inside and throughout the lush outdoors and to bring in new materials and fixtures to complement the homes original design. I replaced carpet with environmentally friendly bamboo floors that contrasted the original slate floors that are present throughout and chose a light, warm neutral paint that paired nicely with the encompassing custom built-in woodwork.
